Do you want the fastest and most efficient marketing strategy to work for you or against you? I would have to say I have never found one like Google Adwords, I know their are many ways to market your product or service online but none that will deliver this type of high quality visitor to your website. That is why I created a short series of articles explaining some of the essentials of pay per click advertising.

What Im going to talk about here is making your website “Google Friendly”. If your new to the ppc world you are probably asking yourself what this means, right?

First let me explain a trend that has been taking the internet marketing world by storm…

There are a lot of phony claims and scams being thrown around online and Google wants nothing to do with it, especially when the FTC(Federal Trade Commission)  breathes down their necks about these issues. So Google has been “blacklisting” and “slapping” people websites and will not let them use them in Adwords Advertising.

They have a system for determining that your website is “relevant” to the keywords you are bidding on. If you are bidding on the word “blue suits” they want those results to show up first then results on the word “suits”. This is exactly what makes them such an amazing tool! You get what you search for immediately, without the BS…

And if they don’t think you should be bidding on certain words because they are not relevant, they will either up the price so high you won’t be able to bid or just shut you down all together…neat huh?

So, to battle this we have to make sure you have a website optimized to the keywords you intend to bid on…make sense?

The first step is to make sure that your domain is in-line with the keywords you are bidding on. They do not allow forwarded or masked domains, if your affiliate marketing a product have your own customized domain name for that page. Same goes with your personal pages…

The second step to making your website Google friendly is by adding outbound links. If you know anything about Google you know they are all about content, so having some links from your page is like dessert for them!

Adding outbound link means you have links going to other websites, usually in relation to the keywords you are bidding on. If you are in the home business industry you might have an outbound link going to homebusiness.com.

The third step you need to take is adding inbound links. This means that somewhere in internet land there is a website that has a link to you. Some good places to put them would be article submission sites and social media sites. Like Facebook and Youtube… Placing blog comments with your link is also a great way to get inbound links.

The fourth technique would be to include the keywords you are bidding on in your website. One quick way to know if your site is optimized for a certain keyword is by using Google’s keyword tool and instead of searching for a specific word you choose to search a specific website. Then just put your URL in and it will scan your site to reveal the words your site is most optimized for…

These are some of the basics to getting your site Google Adwords friendly, if you stick with them you will have great success when it comes to actually putting your website up and not getting banned or blacklisted.

Many people like to start off their online business by choosing the affiliate marketing business models because of the many advantages that it offers. Here’s the solution.  Find a product and research what people are searching for to find it and buy it.  Just use Googles external keyword tool.  Then, write an article and insert your affiliate link in the resource box.  Use the keyword in your title, description and a couple times in the body of the article, like bum marketing.  There,  I just did it.  You can’t use Ezine articles for direct affiliate linking, so if you want to use them you have to make a blog or website and use that link.  Articles base or Go articles are good ones to use for direct linking, although they have those dang text link ads all over your articles that could steal away some readers if you article is boring…A good idea is to research the product you are promoting, or even try it (crazy huh?) and write a good review that doesn’t sound too much like you are trying to sell it. 

Now, submit the article and wait for people to start buying through your link so you can fly to Hawaii.  What’s the matter, no traffic?  Oh, snap!  You need backlinks to your article to get it ranked on the first page!  If you are not on the first page, preferrably in the top 3, you might as well forget getting enough traffic to make any sales.  Now, here’s where I kill it with my bum marketing on steroids method.  Some people out there create blogs or even write other articles and link those articles to the first article to create keyword backlinks…Did I lose you?  Just read on.  While this method will work, it will certainly not get your articles to the first page of Google dominating and the #1 position out of 40 million other competitors – like I have done several times with 30  minutes of work.  There is simply no other way to do this so fast.

There is a software program that will get you high PR backlinks from tons of different web sites.  New sites are added each month.  You type in a new user name each time you run it.  It creates an email address from Yahoo.  Then, you type in four keywords you want to rank for.  These should be similar.  So, if you are trying to rank for say “acaii berry supplements”, you could use:

1. acaii berry supplements

2. acaii berry weightloss

3. acaii berry pills

4. buy acaii berry

Then, you just copy and past the URL from your article that you submitted earlier.  The software will create and the accounts for you, solve all the captcha images automatically and post your links into all the accounts.  This will instantly give you up to 70 high PR backlinks within 30 minutes time and you will crush the competition, sometimes within a day. 

That’s it!  You find another product and repeat.  Take the ones that are converting into sales and keep linking those articles once or twice a month to keep them at the top of the search results.  There is no faster way to make sales on the internet starting from scratch.  Don’t waste your cash on all the B.S. programs out there!  This is real and it works.   There is a trial period that lasts 7 days or so for ONE DOLLAR.  So, click the link in my resource box, sign up for the trial and run it on as many articles, blogs, websites, videos, etc. as you have currently.  You will see results before the trial is over.  Just remember to use the method I described above.  I have tested it many times over and their has only been one niche I could not get it to work for in the last few months.

If you don’t like it, just log into your paypal account and cancel membership to the software before the trial ends.  It could not be easier.  There is also an online forum with tons of users that give you tips and tricks as well.  And after the trial, the software is a whopping $39 a month.  Even a Bum could afford that!  The price will increase soon though, so get in there now.

As a Marketing veteran with over 20 years of experience, and nearly a decade in internet marketing alone, coupled with being a native New Yorker, there usually isn’t much a company can do in the way of internet advertising that can get me to buy.

After awhile, I got quite jaded with all the standard squeeze pages that beg me to cough up my prized e-mail address with their umpteenth free newsletter, outlandish claims of internet riches and a “last seat on the bus” mentality with either a “just 52 left at this price” or “you’ve got 1 hour, 12 minutes and 6 seconds to buy” (complete with a second-by-second ticker to try and stress me out).

I have to admit though, even I can be bought. That’s what happened when I received an e-mail from a mailing list I was on for an article marketing site called ArticlesBase (http://www.articlesbase.com) that helps me do some very solid internet marketing. Since they have been very responsive and helpful, I was willing to give the kind of hokey e-mail offer they sent me a chance. Besides I love to study what others are doing for their internet marketing efforts—-boy do I get some great ideas!

When I clicked on the requisite link and saw the headline, I thought, “oh boy, here we go again. Could this BE any more outrageous a claim?” Yet I have to admit, it hooked me because it was about Pay-Per-Click Advertising. Instinctively, I shivered seeing those words “Pay-Per-Click Advertising”, because it brought back really bad memories of previous attempts I made at using these services for three different endeavors-—to sell one of my early e-books; to try and drum up mortgage and real estate leads; and to sell a piece of real estate. All of these sucked the money out of my Pay-Per-Click accounts faster than just about anything I had ever seen—-even for low-cost keywords of just 5 cents each!

I should have known better, as all of the successful internet marketing consulting work I have done for myself and my clients never required a single Pay-Per Click expenditure. But every time you go do a search on Google or Yahoo!, the pages are crawling with these ads, so you figure, “these pay-per-click ads must be working for someone or they wouldn’t all be here. I’ll try one more time”. It might as well have been Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown after sincerely promising not to do it ever again. You just know the outcome!

Anyway, so naturally when I saw this well-crafted example of a squeeze page http://www.sunloverpublishing.com/google.html about a secret for getting pay-per-click ads for free, I hate to admit it, but it hit a nerve and drew me in. So much so that after reading it, and letting the clock on the cookie-encoded page tick down for a few hours, and then a few hours more, later that night I decided, what the heck? I had wasted a lot more money on my previous Pay-Per-Click escapades than what this sharp internet marketer was asking for, and they got me.

Was I satisfied with the money I spent on learning “the pay-per-click advertising secret?” Actually yes. I don’t expect to get rich overnight from the technique described, although I can see that it has potential. But I had to give the person who thought it up my kudos, as it is something I hate to admit I did not think of myself that should have been very obvious to me. In addition, as a marketing professional, I really appreciated the careful crafting of the advertising message and the way “the Pay-Per-Click advertising secret” was unveiled in the e-book I bought. Plus, there were some very good internet marketing resources mentioned in the e-book, as well as on the company’s affiliate marketing pages, that I had not known about before.

Even if I never use the main technique described regarding the Pay-Per-Click advertising secret (although I am definitely going to give it a try because it makes worlds of sense), I still feel I got my money’s worth on being able to study a skilled marketing campaign, and to get additional resources that will certainly help any of my internet marketing endeavors for myself and my clients.

So even if you think you know it all, and have heard it all, when it comes to internet marketing, it can’t hurt to open your mind every now and then to a well-done, enticing offer. You just might learn something.

I have to admit though, even I can be bought. That’s what happened when I received an e-mail from a mailing list I was on from a respected company. Since they have been very responsive and helpful, I was willing to give the kind of hokey e-mail offer they sent me a chance. Besides I love to study what others are doing for their internet marketing efforts–boy do I get some great ideas!

When I clicked on the requisite link and saw the headline, I thought, “oh boy, here we go again. Could this BE any more outrageous a claim?” Yet I have to admit, it hooked me because it was about Pay-Per-Click Advertising. Instinctively, I shivered seeing those words “Pay-Per-Click Advertising”, because it brought back really bad memories of previous attempts I made at using these services for three different endeavors–to sell one of my early e-books; to try and drum up mortgage and real estate leads; and to sell a piece of real estate. All of these sucked the money out of my Pay-Per-Click accounts faster than just about anything I had ever seen–even for low-cost keywords of just 5 cents each!

I should have known better, as all of the successful internet marketing consulting work I have done for myself and my clients never required a single Pay-Per Click expenditure. But every time you go do a search on Google or Yahoo!, the pages are crawling with these ads, so you figure, “these pay-per-click ads must be working for someone or they wouldn’t all be here. I’ll try one more time”. It might as well have been Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown after sincerely promising not to do it ever again. You just know the outcome!

Anyway, so naturally when I saw this well-crafted example of a squeeze page about a secret for getting pay-per-click ads for free, I hate to admit it, but it hit a nerve and drew me in. So much so that after reading it, and letting the clock on the cookie-encoded page tick down for a few hours, and then a few hours more, later that night I decided, what the heck? I had wasted a lot more money on my previous Pay-Per-Click escapades than what this sharp internet marketer was asking for, and they got me.

Was I satisfied with the money I spent on learning “the pay-per-click advertising secret”? Actually yes. I don’t expect to get rich overnight from the technique described, although I can see that it has potential. But I had to give the person who thought it up my kudos, as it is something I hate to admit I did not think of myself that should have been very obvious to me. In addition, as a marketing professional, I really appreciated the careful crafting of the advertising message and the way “the Pay-Per-Click advertising secret” was unveiled in the e-book I bought. Plus, there were some very good internet marketing resources mentioned in the e-book, as well as on the company’s affiliate marketing pages, that I had not known about before.

Even if I never use the main technique described regarding the Pay-Per-Click advertising secret (although I am definitely going to give it a try because it makes worlds of sense), I still feel I got my money’s worth on being able to study a skilled marketing campaign, and to get additional resources that will certainly help any of my internet marketing endeavors for myself and my clients.

Tip 8: Join a traffic exchange. These are free to use. You place an ad with them. Than you surf for credits, or buy them on some. When you have enough credits, they will show your ad in exchange for those credits.
