Very well said. The question/headline got my attention and made me think the same. But after reading your post, I agree that your answers are in most cases, probably exactly what is going through the mind of copy writers. I know a few of them well.

Thanks for taking the time to write this. This was an interesting post for contemplation! Have a great day!

I googled this question because I remember vincent james asked the same question about copywriters and I also was wondering why is jay abraham is an info marketer if you can make so much money JVing. I am glad to have read another perspective becuase I often wonder what career path is the superior one based on what path people choose. Alot of info marketers certainly knows alot about how to make money, funny thing is they seem to be consultants to other marketers instead of rolling up their sleeves to make the forbes wealthiest list. Very intriguing.

I agree with you on how copywriters love writing. I'm one of them. I wouldn't change it for the world, I didn't even go to school for this and made a drastic career change. But it helps if the copywriter is not just a "writer" but specialize in something like tech, or technical writing, or advertising etc.

Great points- I've heard the same question asked about programmers, why they don't market their work instead of coding for someone else. Same answer, because they are not marketers and may not want to be.
